SAVING JESSE

I would like to share with you the book “Saving Jesse”. The book describes the story of Jesse, a patient who suffered Rasmussen syndrome (a syndrome of severe epilepsy during infancy) and had a major surgical procedure during childhood. The book is written by his mother Nicky to share the experiences in the care of Jesse over a period of time. The book was written to help other patients with Rasmussen syndrome and in general patients with epilepsy to understand that there is hope in new treatments and epilepsy surgery. The book is gently shared by Nicky in a pdf version with the Saskatchewan Epilepsy Program to be distributed to patients but also for specialists working epilepsy patients.

Thanks to Nicki
